Directions Alert & Tips:

• Use caution when viewing internet mapping sites; the shortest route is not always the best. 
• From intersection of Rt. 2 and Little Mohawk Road in Shelburne Center, follow signs for High Ledges Audubon Sanctuary (Little Big House is 500 yards beyond the sanctuary entrance). 
• "Ridler" is on the big handmade map of the Patten District

Written directions:
From Greenfield, MA, Rt.2/Rt. 91 rotary. Take Rt. 2 West, 5.5 miles to Shelburne Center/Little Mohawk Rd. Right onto Little Mohawk Rd. Follow directions from Shelburne Center

From Shelburne Falls, From blinking light on Rt. 2, East 8 miles to Shelburne Center. Left onto Little Mohawk Rd. Follow directions from Shelburne Center

Shelburne Center, take Little Mohawk Rd, proceed north1.3 miles, (past fire station and grange hall) to Patten Rd. Go Left at hand-painted map.

Follow Patten Road .5 miles to intersection of Patten Rd/ Reynolds Rd.  Go Left at fork, staying on Patten Rd.

Proceed briefly uphill to intersection of Tower Rd./ Patten Rd. Go Right, staying on Patten Rd. Patten Road will become a dirt road. From that point, go 1 mile. Little big House is on the right.
